FAQ

Straight answers about renting a dumpster.

The questions we get every day — pricing, permits, weight limits, what fits, what doesn't. Don't see yours? Call (619) 629-4751.

How fast can you deliver a dumpster in Nashville?

Same-day if you call before noon Monday through Saturday. Next-day is standard for calls after noon. We cover all of Davidson, Williamson, Rutherford, Sumner, and Wilson counties on that schedule.

How much does a dumpster rental cost?

Every quote is one flat, all-in number that includes delivery, 7 days of rental, pickup, disposal, and your included tonnage. The exact price depends on your ZIP, container size, and debris type — call or send the quote form and you'll have the number on the spot.

What sizes do you rent?

10, 15, 20, 30, and 40 yard roll-off containers. The 20-yard is our most popular for homeowner remodels and small demo jobs. The 30 and 40 are the workhorses for new construction and full-house cleanouts.

How long can I keep the dumpster?

7 days is included. Extra days run at a flat daily rate. Call before pickup day if you need more time — there's no penalty, just the daily rate.

What can't I put in the dumpster?

Middle Tennessee landfills won't accept tires, wet paint, motor oil, batteries, refrigerators or freezers with freon, propane tanks, asbestos, or medical waste. Call and we'll point you to the right recycler for those items.

Do I need a permit?

Not if the dumpster sits on your private driveway. If any part of it sits in the street or public right-of-way, Metro Nashville and most Middle Tennessee cities require a right-of-way permit. See the Nashville permit guide on our blog for the current process.

Will the truck damage my driveway?

We place plywood boards under the rails on every driveway drop to spread the weight and protect the surface. Loaded containers are still heavy — if you have a fragile stamped or old asphalt drive, tell us when you book and we'll discuss placement options.

What happens if I go over the weight limit?

You're billed a flat per-ton rate over your included tonnage. We share the certified landfill scale ticket with the invoice so you can verify the weight yourself. Concrete, dirt, brick, and shingles hit weight limits fast — call and we'll help you size correctly.

Can I mix concrete or dirt with regular debris?

No. Clean concrete, brick, and dirt have their own weight rules and route to a different disposal site at a lower per-ton rate. Keep heavy fill separate and we'll price each load correctly.

Do you offer contractor accounts?

Yes. Repeat contractors get a dedicated dispatch line, priority scheduling, volume pricing, and net-30 terms with consolidated monthly invoicing. Apply on the Contractor Accounts page.

Do you deliver on weekends?

Saturday delivery is standard. Sundays by request — we can accommodate emergency roofing and storm cleanup, but standard rental days start Monday through Saturday.

What if the driver can't access the drop location?

We'll call you before we leave the yard if anything looks off from your description. If we arrive and physically can't place the container (low branches, blocked driveway, gate too narrow), there's a trip fee — but we always call first to avoid it.

Do you take used appliances?

Yes, as long as refrigerators and freezers have had freon evacuated by a licensed HVAC tech (with the tag). Stoves, dishwashers, washers, and dryers go in with no prep.

How do I pay?

Credit card at booking is standard. Contractor accounts with approved credit can invoice net-30 with consolidated monthly billing.

What areas do you serve?

Davidson, Williamson, Rutherford, Sumner, and Wilson counties. That includes Nashville, Franklin, Brentwood, Murfreesboro, Smyrna, La Vergne, Spring Hill, Nolensville, Hendersonville, Gallatin, Mt. Juliet, Lebanon, Antioch, and Goodlettsville.
